@AdminHan I get the funny feeling that Joe could have easily played jazz with (and gotten killer tone out of) a Sears-Roebuck Silver tone.

It's the world of post-bebop jazz, where "pretty" is useful but ain't really the point of it all. Listen to some of Charlie Parker's arpeggios--it's ear-stretching time.
