My CDs are a mix of 2 addons. When the CD has been used what you see faded is a simple bartender bar with click through and CD numbers. When the CD is ready to use themod is powerauras (from wowinterface) set to pulse. There is also another timer from powerauras being displayed to show how long the CD is active for.
