Lots of unanswered questions here that I may be able to help with.

Song title is "When God is So Near" and the taping was done early 2001. Danny Gaither passed on Apr. 6, 2001. Taped at the Indiana Roof Ballroom and this song is on the "Freedom Band" video. Vocalists are l. to r.--Ladye Love Smith, Reggie Smith and Amy Rouse.

I had the privilege of seeing the original Bill Gaither Trio at the Shrine Auditiorium in 1974, and what an AMAZING time of worship and praise it was!!!

Although I have been a Christian for many years, and have sung, or at least heard a LOT of songs being sung, this one I have not. Does anyone know the name of it?
