I remember a day when I was a musician, when music mattered, but a combo of music AND show meant allot more, back then no one paid to see a few people play the album note for note and just stand there... I've always had a thing for Vince. He wears his heart on his sleeve. When they were on Behind the Music, he was talking about losing his five-year-old daughter to cancer, and his crying made me cry. He was also the driver in a car crash in the 80s that killed his best friend. He was obviously drunk at the time but has been through rehab. Imagine carrying that around with you forever along with the loss of a child. He sounds great to me in spite of what people say about his singing.
@mariofan4523 I feel bad about Vince losing his daughter as well, but he apparently has not learned enough or hurt enough about his alcoholism or he would have stopped and gotten help long ago. He got a DUI in late June and has a court date in Sept. I'd think he would have figured it out by now. I'm reading "The Dirt" & it's interesting to see just how screwed up they were. At almost 50 years of age, Vince needs to figure out that sobriety should be #1 in his life.

I am still a Crue fan though as well & wish the best for them. If you haven't read their book "The Dirt", I recommend it for all Crue fans.

I am still a Crue fan though as well & wish the best for them. If you haven't read their book "The Dirt", I recommend it for all Crue fans.

Gotta give all of them credit for hanging in there through lots of bumpy roads and still performing for their fans. I hope Marrs finds a treatment for his illness, which his wasn't even self-induced! I'll check out Nikki's books, thanks.

@mariofan4523 Nikki has been clean/sober for quite a few years now. He actually sounds very intelligent when you hear him talk in interviews now compared to 15-20 years ago. I just saw Vince in concert last night with his solo band which were not nearly as good as the Motley guys. Also saw 3 bimbo-type blonds on the side of the stage when he was performing. We were making bets if he'd be with all 3 of them later. I pity his wife.

I've seen them two days ago in sonisphere 2010 Stockholm.. And man all girls "came" to them.. Vince's voice is still awesomeeee believe me.. U gotta see them live before having a thought about their qualities

it's not that vince can't sing or reach the high notes, it's that he seems so lazy, like he's not even trying. if he's not in shape, then it's his job (which he gets paid arse loads for) to get in shape so he can deliver a decent performance for the fans (who pay his wages)

Incredible how they're still rocking after all these years. They sound as good as ever. They've all had personal tragedy in their lives, most have overcome alcohol/drug problems. They don't give up for nobody! That's true dedication to their fans who still love them! Vince sounds awesome!!!! I don't care what anybody says.

Fact: my dawg saw Warren D from Ratt kick Vince's ass last year on the strip. Warren beat Vince to a pulp, never liked the guy. Warren bit Vinnces testicle's off and fed them down his throte. That's why Vince can't sing, he has his balls stuck in his throte. Warren never did like Vince and says Nicki is next.

Normally I don't watch videos that people take at concerts for the fact that most of the time the quality sucks. But it took me a while for me to actually see that it was. Nice job

Vince is missing a lot of words and it sounds bad, but he's entertaining as hell to watch live and that's more the point of a performance. If you want to hear the CD, listen to it. I can't say enough good about Mick however. He's a beast.
