The most ridiculous drink I remember making was a venti 6-pump soy, no foam, no water, 180-degree, double whip, ADD RED SPRINKLE, double cupped... Tazo Chai. I hated her!!

I had a woman who used to get a decaf grande nonfat no foam, 200-degree latte. It drove me nuts simple because she was paying for burnt milk. Gross.

I truly believe that people with drinks that are that high-maintenance need to find a hobby that doesn't include narcissism and hearing yourself talk.

I work there and is BULLSHIT indead.

They say that they buy coffee from farmers at right prices BUT they use that coffee just for Drips ( black coffee)

WHAT ABOUT THE roast coffee that they use for expressos, lattes, cappuccinos, etc?

Well, they get that coffee from farmers that recieve a crappy price for their coffee.

Besides in StarBucks they don't even know how to steam and make real coffees.

I WORK FOR STARBUCKS BUT decided to quit as soon as possible.

Btw kindness is usually reciprocated, you are getting paid to be nice, with how you guys feel about your customers its not surprising you get treated like shit. I am a new partner at Starbucks. Trying to call out the drinks when a customer asked for all kinds of ways to make it is a NIGHTMARE. One lady called it out so fast, thinking " How cool am I?" I would have to asked her to repeat it. She would even do it faster than the first, laughing because I couldn't understand. So I decided I am going to memorize her drink. So the next time she came in, I told her what she wanted before she even had time to open her mouth. It felt WONDERFUL.

I currently work at Starbucks and honestly can't figure out what the appeal is yet. It's a cultural phenomena as far as I'm concerned. I'm glad to see there's more than a few people interested in it and investigating it. Keep up the good work. hope to see a feature length documentary on this. At least you guys still have the baritzas though. The verisimo makes the task of being a barista barely being a barista at all.

I worked at Starbucks for three years. This is the best portrayal of that expeience I've ever seen. It really wasn't the worst job I've ever had...but I did spend a lot of time giving decaf espresso to customers who were cruel to baristas.

I miss that.

OMG, i love this video! I use to work at starbucks , everything you say is TRUE... so hilarious! Yeah they ask for 3 shots and their rude i put all decaf. They ask for a light frappucino, I use regular and add classic, they want an Americano, I add coffee and hot water, be rude, and get what you give in return... bad attitude customers hidden secret drinks for you!

Right on! Guerrilla equalizer! I used to do that kind of thing at a gas station, but the currency there was time, not coffee. If someone was a jerk to me, I'd just take a REALLY long time to serve them. :) Funny watching smokers nic-ing while I drop their pack about 3 times.

I couldn't agree more with the baristas in this film. However, starbucks created it's own customer base and now has to suffer the consequence of constantly catering to them.

If you are a high end customer with a complicated order, just be patient with people who are new at making your drink, and give a tip every now and then. Your baristas will be happy and be more milling to take care of your drink on a consistant basis.
