  • We should form little squads to run into clubs and pretend we're super into this stuff. You run in, dance around a lot for a few minutes, and then bam, you're all out of there again, feeling great at another mission accomplished.

All the people in there will be like "Wow, they were really into this stuff. But then they had to go somewhere."

  • Lets not call it IDM anymore and just listen to it...

  • ambient with this killer crisp and sparse beat. love it.

  • awesome,no words to describe the beauty of this track.

  • Perfect! Never gets old!!

  • PERFECT

  • I know people are nostalgic, but please don't pretend good music stopped as soon as you left college/early-adulthood.

  • @skulleton

I don't think good music has stopped these days, but the attitude towards music in the 90s was far more healthy; the experimental became mainstream, and you didn't have to go on a talent show to get famous, you could reasonably do so while maintaining artistic integrity. Good music hasn't stopped, it's just gone back underground.

  • They're new album came out on Monday...

    bliss.

  • After 90s i feel very poor. Unfortunately the future is in the past

  • @AmbientNoise76

u're right. 90s were utopia.people hoped that technological development will help loosing all the economical and social problems. now it's obvious that it will definitely increase them.

  • Probably one of my top 10 tracks of all time.

  • intense and unbeatable.

  • Its weird to think that my childhood music was influenced by the club scene in the early 90's.

  • Awesome track and video, Seefeel at its best! Fracture is an amazing track, tribal-like, mysterious, dark and intoxicating, the whole 'Succour' is a masterpiece, who cares categorization, IDM or electro-acoustic avant-garde, it's wonderful music and that's most important, one of the very best releases on Warp Records

  • As far as I know this isn't IDM.

  • soccour is GREAT!!!!

  • This video makes me think of a turbulent night in and out of multiple clubs and/or venues in the late 80s/early 90s in Berlin or Amsterdam or London (ofc), totally drunk and/or high on ketamine , with a bit of a mescaline haze , searching relentlessly for that special lady i will never find and yet I dont really mind because the music around is so fine! Awesome! ;)

  • fuck you

  • Seefeel = <3

  • "the real IDM! "

idm didnt really start until 1995. i would still consider this intelligent techno

  • i actually heard this the first time on the Warp Vision dvd and I was blown away by the video and the song really pleased me.

  • The electronic music from circa 1990 - 1995 is still my favourite music of all time. Especially the stuff released by Warp. Amazing.

  • one of my all time favorites!

  • talk about insomniac

  • Amazing!

the album after Succour on Rephlex was shit, though.

  • Don't agree... CH-VOX isn't as good as Succour or Quique, allright, but it isn't shit, at all.

  • Sorry, I guess that was the wrong word to use. I was massively disapointed when I got it home from the record store and played it, though.

  • Yeah I can understand that, I expected more from CH-VOX too, such great ambient tracks in the way of Meol. Anyway it is still a good album, not exceptional but good.

  • I saw it on tv when I was 15,, couldn't believe my eyes and my ears :)

  • Fuckin' classic
