  • 2:55 What? Was it me? Or Was there a slight creaking, like a floorboard? Like some ghost following you? Hm. Interesting >:D

  • flooding can be beautiful- awful for the people caught in it or in trouble, but the power of mother nature is incredible.

  • @geefroy --that, it is! And she seems to give us a display an awful lot lately! :)

  • I can just imagine the poor people who were housed here for years and how they suffered. Yes for things they did but man, what a place to have to live! Very interesting video. I love the history of it all :-)

  • @GMPNY -- it gives new meaning to doing 'hard time', doesn't it? Not only were most of the crimes committed of such a ridiculously small nature, but the terms of sentence doled out were in 7 year intervals (7 years for stealing silverware from a tavern, 14 years for stealing bed linens, etc...). These people had to withstand a massive journey on a boat from England all the way to Australia, too! Breaks my heart.

  • I bet those were some tough broads heaving those stones...hahah....

  • @DumDumShow -- you're not kidding! Wouldn't want to come up against any of those gals!

  • that's very strange.....

@1:27 there is face with it's eyes closed....how incredibly spooky!

  • Ah, women in chains--er, prison. It's amazing if they had to break some of that rock themselves. They're better men than me. Keep 'em coming!

  • @elmerlang -- mmmmmsaucy! I've a feeling a bit of what was used was originally broken down in the men's prisons and 'carted' over by horse.... although the bricks were all made by hand and baked-- I've a real treat coming up for you in about a month or so!

  • Excellent !! my friend. Great work. Thumbs up of course. G.

  • @guruofpiano -- hey, hey! Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it!

  • Cool! Thanks. One day you are going to stumble across something REALLY scary. (I can't wait!)

  • @wrght9185 --- ummm, not really sure I'm up for that! Although I was considering doing a few more evening 'strolls' through some new creepy spots we've found... you'll just have to come back and find out :)

  • That is a cool place...amazing how well the walls are still holding up. Thanks for giving us a look. You're such a scaredy cat...lol

  • @RamblinAround -- okay, to be honest it wasn't as bright as the video looks... and it was a bit dark in those rooms... and I was ALONE this time filming... and yeah, all I could think of was somebody (or something) popping out at me (which probably would have made the video go viral, but I'd also have had heart failure on the spot! LOL!

  • @CoffeeKvetch I know what you mean...sometimes places can have a creepy feeling to them. You can almost sense the history.

  • OMG, I saw 3 faces..AaaaH
