each poem describes the journey by the poet Dante through the 3 afterlives, hell. mount purgatory and paradise.

the first poem is called Dante's inferno, the second is mount purgatory and the last is paradise. in the poem dante doesnt get his girl back till the end of book 2 and they ascend together.

@MsBlackRose07 Remember this video game was made based on the original work of Dante Alighieri, 'Divine Comedy' where he used a lot of references from greek mythologic as charont, the river styx, king minos, the minotaur, etc and he put all those in hell because of their pagan origins (greek mythology was considered so by the christian ones).

I mean, he used them as an allegory and not because he believed they existed.

Oh, I get it. He gets killed by the beast at 6:50, but since hell is his eventual destination anyway, he gets teleported right back where he came from which is just above the demon. This means that Dante is technically immortal. (Or it is as simple as having multiple lives in a video game)
