@flippnbricks2o8 to me the guy is still unproven having started less than ten games in a span of three years . jim plunkett was selected by the patriots first round it did not work out and was traded to the raiders as a back-up and guess what led the raiders to a superbowl. just because cleveland did not work out does not mean denver will be the same. who knows what if orton gets injured? thw plunkett stituation could happen again in cleveland

Quinn is not a joke. look the browns finally decided to let him do his thing..the 2 really good games hes had, are the ones were theyve let brady just have it and let HIM run the offense. Not run the football and run the wildcat every play. Quinn has tons of talent and produces TDs even with no top notch WRs and TEs to throw to. give brady a few years and he'll be one of the best. if not the best.

The Browns need to release him. They really do. I remember thinking 3, 4 years ago Brady Quinn was the most hyped up quarterback in college. I couldn't stand him because he was full of hype. So when he got to the NFL, I wanted to see if he lived up to the hype. 3 years gone by, and he's a back-up quarterback because of the juggling around with Anderson. The Browns seriously need to release him because it's a sham that his career is wasting away.

Hmmm....explain this. Tom Brady was almost undrafted (ended up being 257th compensatory draft pick) and is now considered one of the best QBs in the leage. Brady was drafted very high and has not produced jack squat thus far. As far as I can tell, there cannot be two players any more opposite than these two. Way to go CBS

I'm a big time Chicago Bears fan, so I'm completely neutral when it comes down to most other teams in the NFL. I will say this though, you cannot blame Brady Quinn for the Cleveland Browns having a terrible defense, and no main targets on offense. Unless of course you want to say that Braylon Edwards is a "big" target, which he isn't because he is constantly dropping passes. So lay off Quinn

Hey I never said that I doubted Quinn's individual talent. I am a big Irish fan and watched him when he played there. I questioned the comparison between Quinn and Brady because so far, Quinn has yet to see positive results and their expectations were different (different draft spots). Brady was an immediate success and Quinn has not been. Yes, the surrounding talent of each respective player is vastly different but it still doesn't change the facts.

It's so funny reading all of these comments from typical ND haters, and Browns fans alike. Quinn has a big arm and throws the ball very well. He has solid accuracy and has good footwork in the pocket. He will not surpass Tom Brady by any means, but he will have a decent NFL career and be a solid Quarterback

im not a Quinn fan but peple are askin for too much from Quinn..they expect him to be superman and bring back a bad team and try to send them into the playoffs..the guy is still young and needs time to settle in and put him on a decent team where he wont always be under pressure and establish himself and start playing some football
