The late Malika Pukhraj Sahiba hailed from the state of Jammu and Dogri was her mother tongue and she has done great justice with this very sweet dialect. Her lovely daughter Tahira is singing as beautiful as her great mother.
Can anyone post a translation of what they are saying?......if u want earn 80,000 per month by working on internet then visit my profile and watch the vedio there... :)
bar bar dikhne gi man karda. gana suni suni man nahi bharda.what a words!!!!!!!!! uchiya dhara simblu sukka. razi rohna bhala!!!!!!!!!!!wah amazing.thnx youtube you creat a great trend. i can see my culture
A wonderful song, This is Pahari song, but not Kashmiri. I guess it is from Chamba region of Himachal, India. Malika used to sing in royal court of Chamba long time ago. Infact they both have sung another song titled 'Kunja' that lists few rural areas of Himachal in the song. Pity, even people in Himachal don't know that. Words won't do justice to her singing.
wellthanks alot for this wonderfull information .i thought its kashmiri and if i mk not wrong Dogri,Pahari and Kashmiri languages are similar to each other.malika and daughter are singing "spend life with joy o my friend, with access water the simbal tree SIMBLOO is drying and beautifull girls look sad,o sparrow there,s few flowers in winter
and garden, but u r not greedy for eating o sparrow. in fact this song is a advise that we should spend life with joy and happiness.
This language is spoken in parts of indian occupied kashmire. If you listen carefully you can make out the key points. Basically girls are advising the bride to be " ja kai susral gori maikay ki laaj rakhna"

What a beautiful Dogari song from the pair Tahira Syed and her mother Kalika Pukhraj. Their synchronization is wonderful.

No, not at all, its not a Kashmiri ( Maqbooza) song. Riyasat Kashmiri language is absolutely
different than, potowhari or hindko or generally
recognized as pahari dialect.
