This movie raises a lot of questions and plays with your imagination. Ironically, this is not a 'mindless' zombie movie like the mainstream horror we see today, it actually provides you with something to really chew heavily in your mind.
Good review, I could see you looking for just the right words to express the science behind this movie.
This was an amazing film. I saw it prior to seeing your video. It's really good. I want to be Grant Mazzy when I grow old. He kinda reminded me of House. Haahha! Great film. I loved the style. Good review. I agreed completely with what your saying. I was so creeped out by "Pontypool."
the only reason this movie was good because there was no good scenery of what was happening, it made you imagine, and your imagination is better then any imagery they could have produced.
that movie wuz so funny expecially when they kill other people nd da zombies ren;t really zombies they just repeat wutever they hear cuz they understand da english
Awesome review, I am going to have to check that one out! I subscribed to your channel, please subscribe back because I have just started to review horror and obscure films and I think it's really fun!
Excellent review there. That film's been on my radar for a while. Can't wait to see it when it comes to the states. I happen to be a fan of Canadian films myself. Hell, most of my childhood was spent watching some CBC (I live near the border to Windsor so I can get that station easy). They know how to produce some great entertainment. Thanks for that excellent review. 5 stars! :-)
Thanks! You're right about Canadian movies, and it's interesting how much of their stuff is at least partially state funded. That's such a foreign concept when you grown up in the US. I just wish I lived closer to Canada, because I loved Toronto when I visited and I'm sure BC would be badass.
Yeah, that's a pretty neat concept that country has. Even with some films for the US shot in Canada, they (to me at least) still has that Canadian vibe to it. For example there's Stir Of Echoes: The Homecoming. Surprisingly good Straight to DVD film. Set in Chicago, but has mostly a Canadian cast (with the exception of Rob Lowe) and crew (The director also did Cube Zero) and was shot in Toronto. I don't know, but it just had that Canadian feel to me.
Cool review man - sounds very intriguing. From your description it sounds like it has more to it than your average film. Conversationalist? Again, sounds really interesing. I'll have to seek this one out when it makes it way here.
Yep, I looked it up on Wikipedia and it's a town of 36,000 in South Wales. I thought it was a lot smaller than that based on things said in the movie.
Ive been waiting for this to come out for a while after hearing about it & having watched your review can't wait to see it. How did you see it , Cinema or Dvd ?
Thankyou canada!

I didn't give out any info that wasn't already common knowledge to anyone who has read the IMDb synopsis or the press about the film.
