1) This is possible because of the duplication glitch in the 1.7 Beta update. It is fixed as of Beta 1.7.3

This is actually reasonably easy.

Not doing down the maker of this machine, I know no one who can make something as epic as that BUT this is how I think it works:

(Im not sure how infinite TNT happened, but oh well.)

There are pistons to the left that are pushing 1 row of tnt each time TNT is dispensed into the pool.

Then the pistons in the middle of the screen nearest to the begging of the screen push the row of tnt into the water and then the catapult tnt is being dispensed by another piston.
