One thing I wonder about is, why is Skunk Baxter so prevalent in this slide show? He left the group in 1974 and the volume with the som was released in 2000. And he didn't do governmental military advisory work before he left them.
That's just the most obvious unrelated thing about it to my my mind. The slide show I'm talking about.

IRL they are on the only liveable one we know of. They were nominated to a grammy award the same year and Steely Dan got it. But it mustn't be mentioned of course because reality might stain some divine musical ideals. Don't misunderstand. Steely Dan is favorites. But I refuse to deny what's happening in the real world just to kowtow.
And I actually suspect that the guys would not prefer to be worshiped as divinities rather than discussing realities.

The Dan's music evokes so many images. Almost a slam-dunk to use their music with whatever ideas one is trying to convey. Their lyrics are genius put to music.
