It only moves back and forth like that when it's empty. Once it's loaded it doesn't move like that.

When you do your virtual classroom training (if you're not let go in the meantime) they'll tell you to lower the Pod to 6 to 8 inches above the ground before moving the lift. Operating it in this way will cause people to be nervous about having a container dropped in their driveway and will question the training Pods drivers get.
