i agree that there isnt a lot of "ballet" in this show. I picture cirque as being more modern by nature.

you obviously dont have a clue on ballet and its technique because if you did you would not have made that statement. first of all this girls ,i agree, are amazing on the show that they do & they are obviously flexible but the "four swans scene" which is actually the cygnets is all about ballet technique and it needs alot of work, nothing like this video, which isnt actually ballet.

when they do the stack of 3 people, you should see how much the poor girl on the bottom is shaking. the other people there steady her so they dont all topple onto the bulbs.

they got to b special bulbs, theres no waay. maybe they are a type of clear plexi glass that would be strong enough to hold someone, and wouldnt heat up too fast either for thew amount of time this act is done in. ???

they're shape is probably designed to hold the weight. If you clasp your hands together and put an egg in between the lower parts of your palms, and squeeze, it's almost impossible to break the egg because of how the shape distributes the mass. Probably a similar thing with these light bulbs.
