i never did serve in the arm forces because most of my family already served, my father, both of my grandfathers, and a couple of my uncles. but i guess it doesn't matter that our president is singing the star-spangled banner either though. i guess that doesn't count for anything does it? and do you realize before they sing the star spangled banner that you are NOT instructed to put your hand over your heart right? all they tell you to do is stand and remove your caps and join in.
