When I have maked a melody in a matrix pattern sequenser, I rightclick on it and press "copy pattern to track". And I can see it there, in the sequenser. And I do the same with my redrum, and places the "block" a little to the right, so that there is a little pause. But when i press play, everything I have plays at the same time, but I want the matrix riff to play first, and the rest to come inn later..
Probably a silly question eith a very easy answear :P but I would really appreciate help
I started on Reason 2.5 a very long time and was able to see version 3 come out. due to creative differences with some musicians and producers I was messing with at the time I was forced to Fruity Loops when I started building my own studio; Now with version 4 of reason - albeit I'm a little late- I have found my way back to the Godliness of Reason! I will never look at another fruit again> Reason is the de facto application for Music Production. PERIOD.
reason has some new toys on this update but nothing serious. arpegiator is something that reason should have from 5 years ago and its something that you can find in every other application.
thor is not so powerful as they claim and its pretty hard to program it!
i strongly feel i through away my money with this update!
the same old story from propellerheads, reason doesnt seem to want to mature! :-((
Don't be fooled by the hype people. I got version 4 and I was severely disappointed. The new clip system makes it take twice as long to write notes if you are used to writing them in with a mouse.
Well, they are posting this "for free" in order to attract customers... it's called "advertisement". But they are doing a good job, and it also serves as a very brief tutorial!
ASK Video charges a pretty penny for their instructional material. I was simply happy that they posted free content that, as a Reason user, was useful.

Somebody erase my horrible comment. Amazing what the lack of sleep can make you say.
