i started swimming at 3, i had the worst BITCHEIST, ABUSIVE swimming instructor in all of Australia , but she got the job done. (well :) )
if we didnt put our face in the water, she would push our heads in the water, and make us breathe underwater, and she would keep her hand on the back of our heads, so we couldnt come up for air, she would only let us come up if she was "pleased"
I want this instructor to teach me! The instructors I have stay on top of the pool and tell us what to do like it's that simple!! My second swim class is tomorrow, hope I don't panic to much ! Thanks for the video :)
I wish everyone would learn to swim, ESPECIALLY if you are scared of the water. Last year I was terrified of the water, so I joined the swim team 1 year later, right now, I'm can swim every stroke, and get 1-3rd place in each individual event.
Yep water can have under currents that can pull you down and you can sink in water.I still have to learn how to swim.This is so inspiring me to finish learning how to swim.Thank God.
@RSClassicAngel not all are stupid - some of us have reasons - I used to be ok until a birthday party i went to- bouncy castle on pool - me under - nearly drowned and been very very afraid since.
I feel very stupid when I'm at the seaside: I've been in a war zone, I know how to survive in a forest for months (I can find water, food and fire in almost every environment), I'm a martial arts expert, I like to climb mountains, I'm going to do parachuting but... I cannot fuckin' swim properly!!! I've followed about 5 courses when I was younger but I'm still not able. I can believe it. My neighbour is stupid, ignorant, uncoordinated, dirty and violent... but he can swim! I go crazy!
im afraid of water ever since my cousin pulled me to the deep end and held me under water... only enjoyed being able to swim for 1 year :(
