  • CABEZAS DE PESCADO, CABEZAS DE PESCADO , CABEZAS DE PESCADO .......JAJAJA

  • Saw this back in the 80s, been looking for the video for ages - YES! Fish heads fish heads eat them up yum! Thanks a million for posting this clip :)

  • I'm 24 my mom told me to watch this and... I got one word DAMN!

  • Where at was this filmed? it looks like a neighborhood from the 50s

  • Nostalgia Critic should do a video of this LOL

  • I remember watching this on local channel 12 during their late night music fests before MTV was ever around

  • @dumpfile AAAAAH Me too exactly! I havent heard this one for 17 years since late night PBS played it! They also ran the Bjork video for Human Behavior & back then I thought of it as the video were the little Indian boy gets eaten by a bear.. I got smarter eventually.

  • I went to a fish head and asked it advice while lying on a psychiatrist's couch, and wondered why I couldn't get any answers. Fish heads don't make very good doctors.

  • A girl I used to go to school with sung a "wrong" version of this song, and I'm like "WTF?" finally a few years later I hear the correct version and I like it. go figure. lol

  • We all need a little craziness.

  • Thanks to John Peel on Radio One in the UK for introducing me to this CLASSIC in the 80s!!

  • The "other guy" is Bill Paxton. Hudson from aliens? the lead actor on Big Love? Yeah, that's him. He co-directed as well.

  • haha fish heads rolly polly fish heads!! i have been singing this for days... my friends are about to kill me!!

  • what makes the fish heads roly poly?!?!?

  • @SEANFIR you dont want to know man TRUST ME you dont want to know

  • Crazy that is Bill Paxton... the actual year was 1980... I was up late at the age of 12 when this aired on SNL... it's a nasty realization when you see a film (AND IT WAS A FILM) that was made during your lifetime and it looks so goddam old and grainy... granted it was a student film and prolly 16mm but still!

  • @SEANFIR 8mm AND 16 mm. And not a student film. We were grown ups....

  • @artiebarnes Cool! No offense! Aren't we all students though? heheh...

  • @SEANFIR I'm just sayin', it was never thought of as a student film since we were all like 26 at the time. Finished it and 2 weeks later it was on SNL.

  • Best is when Homer is humming this song in an old Haloween Special. The one where they feed Bart's evil twin a fish head exclusive diet.

  • this is shit

  • The creepy thing is they are REAL fish heads - you can tell by the flies.

  • omg & lol and all that good shit

  • if i am not mistaken billy mummy (william robinson, lost in space) played guitar on this track. he also played guitar on some of Americas albums in the early to mid 80"s

  • @sirfrancisalbert it's actually Billy Mumy and another guy..that's whoi Barnes and Barnes were..

  • Ahh... Dr Demento! Fond fucking memories!

  • Fortunately I was born a little too late for this to have been part of my childhood... thank God for that!!!

  • this is catchy :)

my mom told me to look it up

  • oh what the FUCK?!

  • Yea...like this is NEVER going to GO AWAY!

  • Fishheads!!!

I wonder if this video in anyway influenced Christopher Guest's movie "the Big Picture."

  • I miss the Dr. Demento show!!! That's where I first heard this song back in the 80s.

  • @erives174

I agree. I used to play it (it was on vinyl) at the radio station I worked at in the 1980's.

  • Comment removed

  • Ah, yes - LOVED this in my college years -- when MTV was actually FUN and played MUSIC.

  • Another classic from my youth revisited thanks to YouTube and it's members...Thanks!

Barnes & Barnes (and Dr. Demento) FTW! :)

  • This tune blew everybody's mind when they played it at Woodstock.

  • shaycarl sang this XD

    lol

  • Tis a song from my childhood

  • this is a nice song....am i not right?

  • Think of how bad that would smell?

  • For those who remember and those who don't: ON THE MTV'S LAUNCH DATE (ca1980) THIS WAS THE SECOND VIDEO AIRED. THE VIDEO AIRED WAS "VIDEO KILLED THE RADIO STAR"

  • @Schwagville how do you know that?

  • It should read , "the 1st video aired was Video Killed the Radio Star". And I know this because I watched MTV on its launch date.

  • @Schwagville so if you watched the first day of MTV are you sure this was the second video? i'm curious, what was the third/fourth/fifth/etc video? i'd love to see a copy of like the first couple hours of MTV.

  • AW I was there best video ever

  • @Schwagville uh no. The second video was "you better run" by Pat Benetar, followed by Rod Stewart and then The Who. The whole first day is on YouTube.

  • WTF

  • this is fucked

  • WTF!!!!

  • Paxton on True Lies:

    I got a little dick...It's pathetic....

  • My, Bill Paxton's acting career certainly has been....diverse.

  • you need to try a fish head buddy.

  • Two words come to mind: Bad trip. This video disturbs me more than amuses me, but that doesn't mean it's not still interesting.

  • Oh great. I heard this song 20 years ago and had it in my head ever since. Now I'm stuck for another 20 years? Thanks a lot!

  • When I was a wee lad i would sing this with my mates standing in creeks angling for trout. One time I saw a rubber floating by so I flicked it with my fishing pole towards my friend Steven. It landed on his neck. He freaked out and dove in the creek. Those were the days.

  • @Aleowiciuos Aahh - the things you see when you don't have your camera with you!

  • that was Bill Paxton! He was hot!

  • I'm sure the maker of thi movie was has escaped from an insane asylum.

omfg it still gives me the creeps, plus i have a soon to commit suicide feeling after seeing this.

  • Wow, it's the granddaddies of the singing bass plaque!

  • I think they took some elements of Eraserhead when they made this. It great though.

  • THIS IS AMAZING! a video of true beauty!

one things for sure, im not getting any sleep tonight!

  • I love this song. I heard it on turkey tv way back in the mid 80's. I haven't heard it since but I always find myself singing fish heads. The video is creepy and funny at the same time I'm mesmorized by it still. Thanks for posting it

  • This makes me hungry.

  • my ten year old bro LOVES this song...i fancy it myself

  • Used to love listening to this on the Dr. Demento Show. . . classic!

  • I'm sure this was on the Max Headroom show in the 80's.Completely disturbing, but hillarious.

  • I will never look at Bill Paxton the same...

  • I've got some fish heads in my freezer. Some crappie, some bluegills and I plan to throw them away... They do not taste all that good to be honest. except the eyes. fish feyes fish eyes rolly polly fish eyes, fish eyes fish eyes, eat them up *BARF*

  • I was born in 1984, and to this day I still have nightmares from my childhood about when I first heard this song....was it on MTV?
