You can see that metallica got more influence from more obsure and heavy nobhm artists like Blitzkrieg or Angel Witch rather than Iron Maiden or Saxon.

There really is something to the chunk of the new wave band's rhythm guitars. That's what keeps me coming back for Tank, Angelwitch, Diamondhead and Satan.
