I really hate seeing videos like this. It gives Wing Chun a bad name. It gives Kung Fu in general a bad name. How about actually trying to stay within your system. So what if you get your ass kicked while doing so. It's the only way to learn how to use it. Not by just reverting back to human instincts. People.... please stop representing Wing Chun in this manner.
yeah i give him props for getting out there. it's pretty clear that he hasn't been in many fights. hopefully he learned alot from this whoopin'. that is what they are good for ya know? i know a good ass whoop or two has taught me some valuble lessons! PROPS TO MUSU for doing this! I sure hope it gets bigger!
Well that was the most pathetic "wing chun" practitioner I've seen!? Throwing wild kicks, that aren't even in Wing chun? They both were practically street fighting. I saw no style that they both practice in this sparring match, this is why I believe in either practicing Boxing, MMA, BJJ or Muay Thai if you want to be n effective fighter. I've studied Wing chun before but don't think it's effective in real life combat.
Thanks for the upload - i enjoyed watching,it ain't eazy just doing wing chun in the ring since the style ain't for sport but at least they try - good job.

@chillwill183 You're asking the wrong person to stop representing WC in this way. That's not my student. I simply uploaded the clip.

I couldn't recognize which one does the WC, but I wouldn't want to tangle with either one of these guys! They bring it! Respect!

@The8Elements LOL well fighting does not look pretty. And really there are no styles but only principles.

@Arealmartialartist1 I totally agree with you on that one, yeah I guess I went to hard on them. At least they got in there and gave it their best :)

@SSdownunder You can adapt WC for sport fighting. There are WC guys in London doing it and our guys in NY are doing it and winning.

He came to NY from Chicago without a corner man. So my student cornered for him. It wasn't perfect but let's give him props for getting out there.

This is pathetic! The wing chun guy has no idea on how to close the gap..

@Transatlanticism04 true but props for the guy to go out there and fight, maybe this will teach him what his weaknesses are
