  • Whatever the hight in inches is... Say the target is 68in tall (5ft 10") multiply 68 x 27.8 and how ever many mills... Say the target is only 3 mills high, multiply 68x27.8 then divide that by 3 mills and that's how far away the target is.

  • These guys are snipers! Wow

  • I come up with 375yds with a 3mil height off that reticle, assuming x was on ranging

  • What language are you guys speaking?

  • Is this at Benning?

  • Sniping would be my dream career, but I'd want to be an assassin of some sort. Ever seen the movie, "The Professional?" LOL!

  • Those litte pips on the spotter scope are for a neigh exact range estimation, solving a TrigonometrIc function.

Hello, what-in-Hell is everyone being taught?

    WHISKY TANGO FOXTROT

  • ya good call on that 5+1, would have probably hit the pole..

  • Interesting video. I want to be a sniper some day. Only two years to wait.

  • lol i can see vapor trails how far was this?

  • very aweso0me

  • Lmaoo WTF is this wack ass vid is that what you call shooting kill your self :) my grama can shot shoot better then you

  • "send it"

  • wtf something i dont get, the shooter shot, i saw he hitted the arm. the spotter said "death center" but i can still alive if my arm were shot of?

  • @MrPatrickp0078 1st one was "dead center".. I'm sure you only saw the bullet trail before the bullet impacted.

  • thats fuckin cool looking, plain and simple.

  • i have huge respect for snipers. my friend came back from somewhere over in mid. east, but he waited for 39 hours to get a shot, no food, no any thing. you guys are truely amazing

  • @yzkx711 you dont know where in the middle east your friend was deployed? BS story

  • @rawimpact yea im totally bullshiting i know the exactly where he was..

  • @yzkx711 no proof, fake.

  • @hejie23 yep

  • Sick... fucking sick... the art of war has come a long way.

  • 300 win mag?? or 308

  • It's called a vapor trail or sometimes nicknamed the "swirl" or "bullet swirl".

  • Range?? Spotting scope?? Zoom power??

  • That is really awesome dude, I just watched the Behind the crosshairs thing and I was really confused as to how they saw it, but now I understand :D

  • I wan't your job!

  • hey i was wondering what i can do to prepare to try to become a sniper like what makes you stand out in boot. like i love the marine corps but i like the snipers role in the army much more i was thanks for your time.

    -danny

  • @dannychecks

shoot any gun that you can find. Shoot until the gun falls apart, then ducktape it up and shoot some more. Learn to estimate range. Practise camouflaging and test it by going hunting.

    This should be a start.

  • Bitchin video thanks for posting and god bless!

  • greeat vids keep making more i luv military stuff

  • 500 yards?

  • shot at 3:02 (watch from here)

    this is awsome

  • what can i say, WOW amazing

  • interesting...what would you do in the night time?

  • well at night is when spotting is a problem. usually the spotter just pulls extra security or if the target has some light around it the spotter can look for the splash of the round. We dont have a night vision spotting scope though we are just regular army and im sure that SPECIAL FORCES has stuff that is way better than our crap.

  • were you a good shot before you joined?

  • yeah... i grew up on a ranch and have been shooting the same rifle since i was like 7. when i was little my dad would take me to mcdonalds and instead of the hot wheels car we would get the barbie doll and shoot her head off. LOL.

  • Why is America so cool? You can't do that in the UK

  • @SMAT01S you can you just need to be in the miltary, or a military association like the ccf or atc.

  • thats hard core

  • @xXbigballs36Xx nice when i was 7 years i shoot my barbies with my bb gun that not what you see a little girl do

  • @xXbigballs36Xx How about radioing up your Battalion Mortar, and have them put up an Illumination Round over your target for you? A magnesium parachute illumination round does not require batteries, and once your area is lit up like that your muzzle flash will be much harder for an enemy to spot.

  • @xXbigballs36Xx Oops, I typed in my comment too fast and I wasn't quite in my proper World War Two frame of mind. Don't radio up anyone if you are able to avoid it! Crank up on your Field Phone, to contact your Battalion Mortar. Failing that if you have time presuming you are a properly qualifed NCO, send your lead scout as a runner to the rear to request an illumination round.

Wait for an illumination round to arrive, then hoze your enemy!

  • @xXbigballs36Xx pvs 27s are now in use for night operations, probably more accessible to the SF guys tho or course haha

  • nice i hope u guys can make another vid almost exactly like this there just arent enugh vids where it shows u through the optics
