nice video m8 been ferreting since i was 14, im 57 now cant wait for september (cple weeks time) off on our annual outing to scotland soon, usually fills two chest freezers, as you say quicker you get to the rabbit in the net the better, i dont care who they are, every one will miss rabbits, no matter how experienced they are.

Obvioulsy he is one of the "it's my way or it's wrong" type people so no point wasting your time with them.

STEVEYB112 you say you have been ferreting 20 years, I get to the rabbits as quick as they hit the net for 3 reasons

1. when the ferret surfaces he will grab the rabbit and pull it back in,

2. Rabbit could escape the net and finally

3. damaged nets, when I 1st started out I didn't get to the nets as quickly and I had quite a few ripped nets

Yes, you get to the rabbit as quick as they hit the net and so does everybody else, they dont dive on them like an asshole

And yes, the rabbit could escape the net, But if its a good net, set properly, then it will take him longer

And as for damaged nets, if you buy cheap 4z nonsense nets, then you will get them damaged, I only use 10z or hemp nets and havent ripped one yet

None of this justifies diving like twat regardless

If you have been ferreting for 20 yrs you obviously havent learnt a lot, if you had then you would know that it only takes a matter of seconds for a rabbit to get out of a net!!!! Obviously the rabbits in Bermuda must be a bit more laid back..man. If you dont like the way we ferret then dont watch the videos and stick to fingering your chickens as you show on your profile!!!!!!!
