Hi there! I also own a KLX250 (but the injection type one) and got the Q4. Go for that, i totally recommend it.

With the quiet insert in, it's still a deep and cool sound...and without it becomes the sexiest thing in the world!!!! :)

I'm never to old to learn I'm going buy my self a nice stainless exhaust,K•N filter and look into buying a performance carb or would a re-jet be just the same?

re jetting isn't the same at all...If u get a bigger carb, like a keihin 40 or more, the bike licterally flyes!!

The big difference comes also about the price (re-jetting is almost free...) and the gas u will need to use. Bigger carb means less distance per liter...

My suggestion is: DO STEP BY STEP.

start from exhaust and filter and if the bike gets too lean (which will very probably happens) try the re-jetting.

if u still want more power u can think about the carburetor or maybe a sprocket

I bought a new powercore 4 slip-on, a K&N filter and pre-charger, and an FMF/DynoJet jet kit for my ds650, and I couldn't tell much improvement in hp or torque...it just sounded a lot better. Everyone keeps telling me that K&N makes shitty filters, and they let a lot of dirt and dust in...so u might want to get a UNI filter. And i would just re-jet, not buy a new carb.

only change all 3 things/muffler,filter,rejet/ give u more power

Well...only the muffler doesn't change too much, but it's a good starting point. Also the sound is way much cooler!!

I didn't rejet it on 1st place...but after a while i felt like doing it.

The bike works fine even with stock jets, but does too much back firing, which I don't really want.

If u r goona use it on the street, be warned: IT'S LOUD!

A note about backfiring. Yes, it looks and sounds cool, but it kills your exhaust valves.

Seeing that u r Polish i think u use CM right?

I don't know the minimum height, but I m around 190cm and of course i touch with all the foot...but i guess that 180 is totally fine, and 175 maybe limit for a good balance...

but if u are strong enough u can keep it bended on one side when u stop, or buy a lower seat, or lower the bike with a special set...If u r not a midget it should be fine anyway!

u have to put a jet kit on that four it to run at top performance. ur lucky urs even ran. when i put it on my trx250 ex mine would not even start i hade to get it jetted.

Thanks dude, sorry but I really don't know how to help you about the search...only thing I can tell you is to check out the Japanese site of "red baron", it's the biggest bike dealer in Japan, and they sell world wide...check it out!

What skills are you talkin about?? Changing a muffler or what? Anyway I learned all by myself, just wasting a bit of time, doing some mistakes...Anyone can do it, thrust me!

I have no idea if u can "fit" it into a CRF 100...look on the FMF site, I think they have the specific model for your bike. I think anyway that If u manage to put the FMF for a 400 cc on ur bike, u will need to do a MASSIVE recarburetion!! U ll need a main jet twice as big as the one u have on now!

If u change only the muffler, usually u gain top speed and loose a bit of torque at the low...wich u can balance back putting on an header like the one u mentioned.

Yes, It will increase for sure the response of the accelerator and will give a bit more back kick on the low RPM. If u don't wanna get top speed, and want only more torque I suggest the megabomb + an FMF Q4 (I m not sure about the name, but is the "legal" one, below 93 Db of sound).

As I told you before...go check on the FMF site, they produce for the CRF150 the "Powercore4" and the "Q4"...they both cost 300 dollars.

Don't try to use a DRZ one, as long as u don't already own one and u wanna "make it fit"...

Go on the FMF site and look in the MX section...search for ur bike and u ll see what I m talkin about.

I live in Japan so I wouldn't be of any help for you to buy it....but for what I know the FMF stopped producing the Powercore 4 for the DRZ so maybe u won't find it. Try on their website and check it out...

About mirrors I really don't know the brand...bought it in "nankai" (shop name) in Japan ....
