Im sure you can see the benefits associated with having a chip. Of course your concerns are valid. So how can such devices chips be realized while avoiding their risks ? How about joining a standards organization which decides on a strict set of specifications ? For example the device could block incoming connections until a valid code is given. The code could be one use and valid for a limited time only. Make it law that only hospitals can have the code. Stop whining and work on it.

It is more about solving the problems associated with our physical biological bodies, such as aging, diseases, waste excretion, and so on. The second and more prominent aspect of transhumanism is enhancing the power and ability of our minds in order to comprehend and find answers to problems that we may think are now impossible.

@MrSpecOps wtf? microchips are definitly a PART of the transhumanist movement. and it is a project by the elite. its just another term for eugenics. pls read julian huxley, he was a leading eugenicists and the first "transhumanist". just google huxley and transhumanism and read his original text...you will see that there is definitly an agenda by the elite. the arguments of transhumanists sounds good but you have to look behind the surface.

@corrrdoba ermm dude - you say "eugenics" like it's a bad thing. And I KNOW, before I get a mouthful of abuse that the Nazis used it in horrendous ways - such as sterilising or killing those with mental disabilities so that they could no longer breed etc etc. But that's negative eugenics - there's nothing wrong with positive eugenics, such as tweaking the genetic code of an embryo so that it has a higher resistance to Alzheimer's/increased strength/greater intelligence etc...

@corrrdoba Eugenics is to transhumanism what dictatorships are to democracies. Eugenics, by both definition and implementation, exclude a big part of the human race, deems them unfit, on rather flimsy, arbitrary grounds (like external characteristics, socioeconomic situation etc). Transhumanism doesn't intrinsically exclude anyone who's willing to embrace it. If it exists in a corporate world, it just might be mostly for the well-off people, but that's still far away from eugenics.
