and he (the antichrist) causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark IN their right hand, or IN their foreheads:17And that no man might buy or sell,
@Straightsix76 That isn't a matter of fact, but a matter of application. What if you could join this supposed hive mind freely, or skip out on it altogether? Would it still be an abomination? I think, what you really mean, is that forcing people to do anything against their free will is an abomination.
@xxhellspawnedxx I don't think you could do either, we are slowly being conditioned to have a desire to merge with machinery and join a collective hive mind so we are more easily controlled and manipulated. In the end, choice will not come into it. This is an abomination
@Straightsix76 You certainly seem to have chosen already. Nevermind the fact that you're right now taking part in the hive mind that is the internet. It's a bit less direct than a neural mega-net, yes, but it's nonetheless the same kind of massive cross-communication that the hive mind could be.
Watch out! The elite boogymen are gonna get you. They are really in control....because a higher natural order that has been around for billions of years just handed it over to them. The solution to the problem of the elites is to bust out the horse and buggies....and let our kids play with mercury. We also need to bring back the x ray vending machines. We can also restore the constitution and relive the 200+ year cycle of corruption again. Yay. Sounds fun. Killing cancer with nanobots is gay.
The funny thing about this shit is most of you don't realize that for the most part the human body is perfect. It's flaws are a lack of instant specialization, difficulty in major repairs, and in the far future... fraglity in the hostile enviroments of space. Every faggot that thinks we'll live forever in robot bodies or is bringing his pathetic religion to this... go home, kill yourself, or shut up. Please.
@TheLifePerfect and the crippling hell that one has to endure when they age 30 or so years before Finally dying. No one enjoys osteoperosis, macular degeneration and incontinance.
@TheLifePerfect hey just because there are some bad apples in humanity doesn't mean everyone is guilty. Whether you're a saint or a mass murderer, you're treated equally the same by your biology. How is that in any way just?
@AlternateArtisan No, sorry, everyone is guilty. Advanced cybertech prosthetics will be limited. No one is trying to save the world or take it over, we're just building another level. Everyone dies in the end so there is no compulsion to feel guilt over the method in which someone will die. In otherwords, no one will save you. Stop blaming the world for your problems, grow up, and take personal responsablity.
@TheLifePerfect Considering transhumanism is all to do with life extension and improving the quality of life for people, you can say that it IS mankind's way of helping itself. It may not be perfect and immortality may not ever be achieavable but thats no reason to not try. Call it, an advancement in medical science.
@TheLifePerfect the results will speak for themselves in time. It might take a few decades to perfect, as with all emerging technologies, but why would all the leading countries in the world be persuing this goal if it was just a gimmick?
@AlternateArtisan Cute you try to frame my blatant attack on Transhumanism as an attack on cybertechnology. Clearly you are a small fry and I have no impetus to even use logic in this conversation.
Im sure you can see the benefits associated with having a chip. Of course your concerns are valid. So how can such devices chips be realized while avoiding their risks ? How about joining a standards organization which decides on a strict set of specifications ? For example the device could block incoming connections until a valid code is given. The code could be one use and valid for a limited time only. Make it law that only hospitals can have the code. Stop whining and work on it.
Not to mention the fact that they are exaggerating the need for prior info in an emergency medical situation. The presenting signs and symptoms are the clinical picture plus diagnostic testing guide the treatment regardless of much if not all of the history!
All that medical info gps crapola (not that i approve) can be done voluntarily on a bracelet, just like the medic alert bracelets, but NOOOOOO, we gotta brand yo butt!
big woop if they want to eliminate cash currency. It's worthless paper anyway. It's not like you can't accumulate physical wealth with a cashless society. maybe with a more streamlined economy, there'd be less space for shonky middlemen and people who get rich by doing nothing useful for society.
Transhumanism is not about microchips and conspiracies, nor is it about profits for companies and the government. It is more about solving the problems associated with our physical biological bodies, such as aging, diseases, waste excretion, and so on. The second and more prominent aspect of transhumanism is enhancing the power and ability of our minds in order to comprehend and find answers to problems that we may think are now impossible.
@MrSpecOps wtf? microchips are definitly a PART of the transhumanist movement. and it is a project by the elite. its just another term for eugenics. pls read julian huxley, he was a leading eugenicists and the first "transhumanist". just google huxley and transhumanism and read his original text...you will see that there is definitly an agenda by the elite. the arguments of transhumanists sounds good but you have to look behind the surface.
@corrrdoba ermm dude - you say "eugenics" like it's a bad thing. And I KNOW, before I get a mouthful of abuse that the Nazis used it in horrendous ways - such as sterilising or killing those with mental disabilities so that they could no longer breed etc etc. But that's negative eugenics - there's nothing wrong with positive eugenics, such as tweaking the genetic code of an embryo so that it has a higher resistance to Alzheimer's/increased strength/greater intelligence etc...
@corrrdoba Eugenics is to transhumanism what dictatorships are to democracies. Eugenics, by both definition and implementation, exclude a big part of the human race, deems them unfit, on rather flimsy, arbitrary grounds (like external characteristics, socioeconomic situation etc). Transhumanism doesn't intrinsically exclude anyone who's willing to embrace it. If it exists in a corporate world, it just might be mostly for the well-off people, but that's still far away from eugenics.

Thanks to the internet, we're all ready a hive mind.
