Thanks to shyras1ji for sending this video in to me in a PM, knowing am part Punjabi & treasure KLS songs in sweet memory of my dad & nostalgia of listening to KLS's younger brother, my dad's close friend, whom I listened to as a kid singing many of these songs in a strikingly similar voice & style of his brother KLS. How thoughtful of him. This song creates the same nostalgic imagery in my mind of evenings with grown ups listening to Gogi uncle sing after a few 'drinks' :) Thank You Mirzaji !:)

Thanks , Mirzaji, for forwarding this clip to me. I have never heard KLS's Punjabi geets before, though he was a Punjabi ,of course. Thus it is a special treat to savor these songs. Only two instruments, harmonium and tabla here, but a heaven-endowed sweet voice in the old days didn't need more help to dazzle us. The recording is so clean. Tusi tabeeyat bahot khush kar ditti eh, inteha khoobsurati wale gaane sunake. Dobara shukriya.
