@yulexaa yeah you are right, artist in Korea DO lip sync sometimes but they only do it if their label as them to do it. They either ask them to do it if the label knows that they will be too tired to sing but most of the time they sing live. Its only a small percentage that they lip sync.

I've seen videos of BoA lip sync ~ but I've also seen a lot of good performances that seemed VERY live. I read once that BoA trains her stamina, she goes on the treadmill and works out and sings at the same time.. this training will help her sing live and dance..

Are we talking solo singers or in groups? Thats a whole different story if were just talking solo,Namie does it very well with singing live, So does Kumi.BoA is great also when it comes to actually trying. Rain is great live. Hyori is ugh lol, The reason why groups became popular is just for that reason of being able to sing and dance live. Most singers dont have to lipsynch cause it gives them a bad rep hence why they dont dont do it alot, and why give a half ass performance anyways?!

@sarangai804 actually this is false, BoA CAN sing and dance at the same time. BoA prides herself on being able to dance and sing at the same time. BoA has stated MANY times that she trains herself to sing and dance by running on a treadmill AND singing. She says that if you can't sing and run at the same time, then singing and dancing will be very difficult. BoA only lipsync when she is doing a full concert, then she'll lip sync a couple of songs coz its a full on concert and its tiring.

Kwon BoA actually dont really do any lip syncing, she has done it few times, but almost all her music is real.

most korean singers now cant sing for life, all lip syncing, they just have good looks, thats what the korean music industry is doing. But in BoA's time, lip syncing wasnt really there, so singing really had to be the talent.

Actually; a lot of koreans had to be a good singer to prove they didn't lip sync.

That way; the entire record song can play in the background-while they turn the singers mics up higher then the song so everyone knows the song is playing; but they are singing too. Can see in lee jung hyun, hyori lee, and boa's performances <3 :)

Besides we know both of them really can sing and dance very well. in this performance they might lipsynce but there were other performace of them when the didn't lipsynce but could dance & sing at the same time very well. that's why they can success & get lots of fans who admire them... if not they wouldn't make it this far. they don't need to be close to god. just talent, practice, hard work & determination.
