AIC was a huge influence on Metallica during the '90's whether that's a good or bad thing is your call. Honestly though James wishes he had half the talent Jerry has in my opinion, and the new AIC ROCKS!!!!! \m/

He really does do the bulk of the vocals on the New Alice in Chains album. You need to check out his solo work on the Albums Degradation Trip and Boggy Depot. After listening to these you will see how much Jerry's vocals are prominent in AIC and it really showcases his true talent

Im a Huge Metallica Fan, Nothing Else Matters is a song that James wrote to a girlfriend and tells the difficulties of being on tour and miss a dear person.

James wrote the lyrics, melodies and the solos.

Kirk a an awesome guitar player. If you dont think that, you dont know Metallica. But who is better is a thing that only yourselves can tell.

I agree playing the guitar isn't about how fast you can play it, and thats why I think most of his solos suck donky balls...All of Jerrys solo's have emotion put into them..and it just grind my gears when his "Nutshell" solo is # like 50 all time solos, I'm mean for real if you ever seen him play that solo live it's amazing
