kessler or coal went to the past to change the future if you have seen the movie back to the future you would have seen if you go into the past to change the future your time will never have existed. saying that if i went to stop the baseball from hitting my lip i wouldnt exist but the me that didnt get hit would. so that is how the whole thing goes.

This brought tears to my eyes for the first time in a LONG time.... it just kind of puts life in prespective... if your a good guy, your sacrificing yourself, in return you are saving others. Regardless, its just a big part of the mysterious thing of 'Life.' Maybe there is some reward after you die if you sacrifice yourself, or maybe there isn't... maybe your just gone forever. Me Myself, I believe life and what comes after is whatever you make it. Which is why we are given the ability to dream.

There will be a third one, because he still has to go back in time as Kessler to warn himself about the beast. The lightning at the end probably did revive him, and that is where the 3rd one will probably start. Cole busting out of his coffin, and Zeke is like, "Holy shit!"

@carmswife i dont think he will become kessler, cole managed to "deal" with the beast as kessler warned, if he went bak in time he would just plop into an alternate past for no reason (kesslers own time line was doomed). another reason i dont think it wil focus on that is because in kesslers timeline there didnt seem to eb any issue with the plague as he developed his powers naturally (cole would have too, but ray sphere activated them early) so this timeline has a brand new story :)

I REALLY want to believe that Cole IS alive.......I REALLY WANT TO BELIEVE (as Mulder would say) but i just think that was their for dramatic effect NOT for Cole's revival....Either way THIS is my favorite game of all time just because of that kick-ass ending....This one made me feel actually kinda scared as I started the RFI but i knew it had to be done...while the evil ending i felt like a monster butchering everyone who got me to that point and destroying everything i had worked for.....
