Good question. Generally they said nothing. It was horrific for all of us, especially the parents. I stood over my best friend's son who shot himself to death---it was horrible.
Of course people automatically plug in "He must have been PTS" or "His case wasn't handled right" or of course the most insane one: "He/she had overts or undisclosed hidden, bad deeds". Since then I now know 7 Scientology kids who have taken their own lives, and *tons* of adults who have died way too young.

One would think, but not so...they're mostly older Scios, who have been "in" for most of their lives, and literally ---they are "True Believers". Remember, he was born into Scientology. His parents were into Dianetics, back in 1950! Best :) TLC
