This song was recorded maybe 20 years ago at least. It is a song that was written sometime even before Reba recorded it. If I remember right it was written by Bobbie Gentry and she recorded maybe lat 60's or early 70's. Get over it already. It doesn't promote anything but good country music from a great entertainer.

Courtesans don't only have sex, sometimes people "hire" them for companionship like when she was singing about pouring a guys tea. She wasn't there only for sex.
