Yeah well defend your right to videotape all you want, but have you ever been the victim of domestic violence? I think not, I have & it only takes a minute for someone to get badly hurt or die. People like you that say its nothing makes me mad.
@dmeyer2626 Whatever you to on your property and on your time is your business. If these outbursts occur regularly and can be heard from adjoining properties then it starts to become everyone else's business. It should be pretty obvious to these people that they can be heard by their neighbors and they don't care about disturbing them. If they don't mind causing a scene with others around, they shouldn't mind being told to quiet down or shut the fuck up. Being considerate works both ways.
@legomaster335 Yeah it is not any one else's problem so just walk away right? Walking away gets people hurt or worse. You may seem like a creep or nosey neighbor, but if you could help and make sure no one is harmed then do so. Don't turn your back. That is why no one takes domestic violence seriously, because they have this attitude that there is always 2 sides to the story, so she must deserve it. Regardless of what she may or may not have done, NO ONE deserves to be harmed by another person!!
@julianlynch How do you know?! I have never met a young couple who truly loved each other that didnt have a HUGE argument here and there. I think you are Peeping Tom! I think that you unknowingly videotaping your neighbor's personal affairs is morally reprehensible.
this was the same issue I had heard 6 years ago but it was more violent, neighbors were concerned, the violence gotten worse and the police had to come because it was becoming more violent and one of the neighbors was beaten up.
Your kind of a coward for just taping it. I would of went over there and kicked his teeth in. For some reason this vid pisses me off to the point I just wanna punch holes in the wall.
@julianlynch I for one think that was very brave of you for just taping it and then putting it here on YouTube. You're very brilliant and nice, too. :)
And rock on man, I would do the same thing and video tyape them, I would have let them see me though... get them to act even more stupid for the camera, then post it. lol
For all you bitches, yes it's legal. If you tape outdoors from the privacy of your own home, it's legal. Trust me, seriously. I have, let's say, experience in this area.
) A person is guilty of an offence against this Act if the person communicates or publishes to any other person a private conversation, or of the substance, meaning of, a private conversation, that has come to his or her knowledge as a result, direct or indirect, of the use of a listening device used in contravention of section 43 and is liable on conviction on indictment to a maximum penalty imprisonment for 2 years.
Hey, i'm just fucking with you. Australias cool. I had a buddy went there once. Surfer. He scraped up against a shark coming down after a wave. He was scared shitless. Literally took a shit in the water. Australia is fucking dangerous, though. Half of the worlds most poisonous snakes, great whites, the box jelly fish, rockfish, the redback spider. You guys even have a poisonous octopus for fucks sake! No wonder Steve Irwin wasn't scared of shit! God rest his soul. Dingoes, the outback....
OK well I disagree that I am in breach of any privacy law. I would be amazed if these people were still alive. If you've ever lived this close to that type of addict you would understand how ridiculous it is that we protect these people more than the people they are harming.
I reiterate that I am not judging you or pretending to know the ins and outs of this situation.
I know a little bit about drugs and I know a lot about domestic violence and I do resent you branding them as second class citizens simply because they don't meet your specific expectations of how one should live.
What you really need to consider that if you were filming this specifically to give to police to perhaps substanciate some type of charge, whether it be disturbing the peace,
(continued) drug production or distribution or violence against the women coz it sounds like she is being absoilutely tormented ...if that were the case then perhaps the invasion of privacy is simply the ends justifying the means.
If you were filming this as evidence for the landlord, despite not being entirely lawful, no one is ever going to know are they
...but you are not doing any of that, you are filming these people strictly for entertainment... and mate thats just not right
I was indeed filming this to show the landlord because she didn't understand our concerns. Also was shown to police and I feel strongly that nobody really understands what harm is caused by substance abuse and violence. All I did was document what happens from my own home. I defend my right to do that 100%. I never want to live in that situation again nor should anybody else.
What's not legal about taking a vid from the comfort of your own home? I didn't even leave the indoors of my own house. If you think that's not legal I'm glad I don't live where you live.
ok so I'm sitting in my own house and I can see the young lady next door undressing and I firly gawk, secondly film and thirdly upload onto the internet for all to see
...so based on the fact I'm inside the 'comfort' of my own home that makes it legal?
If you lived where I live I would have at least had the balls to leave the indoors of my house and tell em both to shut the **** up
Mate these cats were Meth addicts. I had to call the police more than 10 times due to bizzare activities. They used weapons and once the police removed them they found a small drug lab. The owner of the rented house had to spend $30000 repairing the place and they stole a piano when they were evicted. I don't feel bad for what I did.
I'm not judging you, I'm just saying on the internet and especilly in Australia there are shit loads of privacy laws, most of which are civil cases
...meaning, that if these people were to ever find out they are on here they would have the ability to sue you for a shit load of money and not to stereotype but based the description you gave it sounds like they would be the types of people to do so
The police should have been called right away by the person who was video taping it. Sounds like the woman was being bullied just for using the phone book. That is major emotional, mental, verbal abuse, and I'm sure physical as well is going on or going to happen. If anyone has neighbors like that or knows someone whose relationship is like that then then need help as soon as possible. Speak out against domestic abuse!
please help her! let her use your phone. good thing recording them that way if anything happens it will not be her word against his. bless you and help her!
Why do people always run to the defence of women? The people in my video are co-dependant, both drug addicted people with behaviour problems. The poor landlord had to have them removed by the police after they destroyed the interior of the house and failed to pay rent for months. Repair work took 2 months and cost thousands of dollars. When the police removed these people they found needles and bongs. I would vote to have these people put to sleep.
You're saying that this couple is both messed up. Its only half of her fault and his? You filmed them because you wanted them removed from the neighborhood?
Yes they are both messed up. Crime drugs and violence just don't make a pretty picture. I filmed it because the landlord needed to see how the house was being damaged. It took months to repair the house as they were quite crazy and smashed/broke a lot of stuff.
No, the rage is withdrawal from the drugs. They want another fix, Heroin addicts.

@napalmTECH when you scream and shout like that it hardly makes the conversation private and a video recorder is not considered a listening device.
