Oh man, he sounds so off key... Bodysnatchers is the most energetic song on In Rainbows, here it just sounds... boring.... which is very strange because most radiohead songs performed live are much faster and energetic than the album version... and if anyone is wondering I'm not some jerk-off Muse fan trying to put down Radiohead, just my honest opinion.
@WickedLiquid I'VE. NO. IDEA. WHAT. YOU. ARE. TALKING. ABOUT!! He's isn't off key one time in this, and how much more energetic would you like it to be?
@WickedLiquid this is only one performance of Bodysnatchers before In Rainbows tour. Plus the original performances during 2006 Down is the new Up tour.. this was inside a small club in Lonond it was cold . was one of these fluk things.. you cannot base this statement off one performance of Bodysnatchers.. there are many u can view on youtube
For me Muse is like a modern RUSH...so that's why i like muse now...they don't sound like the radiohead copycats anymore...unless it's coldplay than that's a different story
I don't see how anyone can possibly like both bands. Radiohead are the originators of a sound. Muse are just the poppy watered down version. Why would someone waste their time listening to talentless fakes, when they can listen to the real thing?
i like radiohead a great deal better than muse, but everyone gets inspiration from somewhere. It's just a matter of mixing up everything you've heart and synthesizing it in a new way.
ok - scary - it's a 60's SG bigsby BUT - this is the crunch you lot - white, I'll say it again WHITE AC30. I've got to go now - Thom, nice one, I play a 70's Les Paul through a 78 big muff through a 63 AC30. I blame you - it's all your fault - letters from neighbours forwarded to T yorke, Oxford, I'm off to turn it the F*** up
OMFG thom yorke is not perfect... i must commit harikari!!!! just kidding... thom actually botching faust arp twice at the nissan pavilion show... but these guys are still the best... just because they still love what they do
I'm extremely pleased to say that I'm seeing them this summer. It was such a hassle getting tickets but I'm glad I'm going! Radiohead is truly spectacular and this shows it.

WHOA, 2.00 Thoms voice sounds well powerful, Heres hoping theres another album and he stops with the gibberish and says something a bit less cryptic that he can really bellow on rather than wail ;)
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
ha HA! mmmmmm I have my theories. sorry thumbs downers, I only said that because I want my favourite artist to develop his vocal range, and he opens his voice in a way i've never quite heard before, after hearing A LOT of radiohead!
forgive me, it was meant to be a positive comment, and you just can't deny that gibberish does feature quite heavily.
His voice has already been developed since birth. Can't see why anyone would hate this album (In Rainbows). This album ranked 1st in UK Album Chart, 1st in U.S Billboard 200, 1st in United world chart, 1st in Canadian Album Chart and many other charts.
EtcEtc...Thom Yorke's vocal range is more developped than 98% of the human beings on this planet. That is all. (oh and, you get a thumbs down, no offense)
Where's Colin's guitar in the second part(light gone out for you)? :-\ It gives that part it's feel. That and the bass line... Oh well. Still a very fun performance!
i wonder why always choose UK,Us,France or similar countries to prepare such kind of good and strange concerts..and wonder why they never think to visit Turkey despite they have a lot of fans here..well somethings reminds me kinda "God Loves His Children??!!??..Applauds go to Radiohead who let to please Colonist Countries children..Yeah,however They are god's children....What a great Pity!!!
a few people seem to be criticising this song, but the fact remains is that its a free gig that they threw together and they had nothing to lose, so they're gonna fuck about a bit and have fun with it!
it never hurts to experiment a bit with the sound of a song, especially after you've performed it a thousand times. thom yorke was obviously less focused on hitting all of the notes that he was "supposed" to hit on this song. it sounded like the entire band was just enjoying themselves, and though the product may not be as harmonically succinct as the album version, this is still a pretty damn nice performance and i'd sure as hell liked to have been there that day.
thanxs for comeing back?they never left!for bloody sakes mate!turn his guitar up!!!!!!!!!great to see it though........working through the sound problems........by the time they get 2 me they usally have everything worked out.cant wait....this will be show #7 for me.

Why is there always the competition between Muse and Radiohead. Liking a band is not a mutually exclusive event. You can like both.
And if you don't, keep your trap shut because nobody cares.

Comparing Muse to Radiohead is like comparing eating shit to eating honey...
...the shit is Muse, btw

just because you like radiohead more doesnt mean you have to dislike muse, its perfectly fine to like them both...
