I'm not really a fan of this ado annie. She's supposed to be more giddy. In this version she seems a lot more self aware, which would be the difference between her intentionally hurting Will or just being dumb

My favorite Will and Ado of all time! When Gene pushes his cute little stetson forward he looks so dashing! And Gloria Graham plays Ado Annie to perfection! Her Ado is just as dumb and sweet and Will. I love this my favorite song of the musical because of the natural way these two perform it. Wonderful!

I enjoy this song and scene the best in the movie. They're such a typical couple, after all (And otherwise very easy to relate to!) ! This is real life, ladies and gentleman. ha ha, Relationships are generally LOTS of work and compromise (and need I add sacrifice? :P) ! = D

The two girl dancers (Lizanne Truex and Jane Fischer) shown half way through this song had a very prominent role in the film and deserve more recognition for their performance. Note how they end up flanking the Bride and groon just before the end.
