@dobbsiancant You forget something: The GOP, crazy or not, has power. They can shut everything down, and they're crazy enough to do it. Now, let me ask you this - if you were in the President's shoes, what would you do? Seriously? Remember - you have to work within the constraints of the system.

@MiniRtist in the 90's the gop controlled the house and the senate.and clinton was also fighting off ken starr.he still managed to paint them into a corner.if al gore had allowed clinton to campaign for him,he would almost certainly have become president.he was probably president anyway but for the scotus ruling on florida.then again,that would have meant vice president 'ugh' lieberman and no home for keith o at the current (more free time for you),so let us not play what if.

@MiniRtist i was just expecting more from obama,that's all.i find him too timid.maybe he's saving it all for a second term.however,short of a serious canoli accident involving alito and scalia i don't hold out great hope.

@rumpole33 Yep. I deleted it. It was working on some pages, but not others. Kept saying "processing" so rather than worry about whether people could see it or not, I deleted it, and it's uploading now.

@Rosannasfriend I know, but a lot of people weren't able to reach it, and I couldn't even get it to play most of the time. It's back up now anyway... just wanted people to have full access to it.
