  • We normally used LS800P along with EF500P but for this event we needed that extra punch. We don't have a drive rack so we just used crossover..

  • I DIDN'T SAY THEY WHERE BETTER IT'S JUST THAT THE LS 800P GO'S WITH THE EF 500P'S AND SOUNDS GREAT TOGETHER. I NEVER HEARD THE LS608 BUT IF IT'S HIT'S HARD USE IT. WHEN I WENT POWERED I LEFT THE OTHER STUFF ALONE I NEVER NEW U COULD MIX POWERED AND PASSIVE DO U USE A DRIVE RACK???

  • U HAD ME WITH THE EF500 THEN U LOST ME WITH THEM SUBS (NONE POWERED)

  • @jambitch Powered speakers doesn't mean it necessarily better. We have powered speakers and passive speakers. The passive sub sounds better because the bass is more deeper with better punch. We have the Yorkville LS 800P & Two LS 608. We used the pair of LS 608 for bigger parties. For tops we used Yorkville EF 500P and E15. Both speakers sounds great but EF500p delivers more wattage. Powered Speakers it's more popular now because it's more cost effective and convenience.
