@MustangRacer24 The only idea i could give you would be sell it, and buy a new one. They are not expensive cars. In my area i see tons of them around $4000-$5000 on craigslist with less then 70,000miles.Mostly manual to.I would suggest if you want it to run like a v8, but still be a v6 try a supercharger, but it would probably be cheaper to just buy a v8 manual.You could also buy a v6 and try whole new exhaust system/Intake/headers/etc 4 some power. Just side exit exhaust nothing special. Still a catback. But it seems the side exit mufflers are a bit different, both the red and black mustang videos I have use the same mufflers yet sound way different.
forry, it'd be wise to do your research before you open your big mouth. yes a bigger tb adds slightly more hp without anything else. same with a cold air intake. how do you even know that his intake isn't polished, did you ask? bigger intake=improved flow, which= more hp. but hey westley i was wondering how much you paid for that posi-traction. i was considering getting one for my 2001 v6.
Many experienced people throughout the v6 mustang community know that there are no gains. ive dyno tested new edge mustang v6's with larger throttle bodies and the rest stock. There are not any gains, nor any difference in sound. This doesn't speak for any other car, but for these cars its the truth. Although i dont know for sure that he has had head work, he did not list it in the info. It also doesn't sound like he has.
haha why do you need a bigger TB? It won't do ANYTHING until you get your intakes Ported and Polished. An intake system is only as big as it smallest part. and you should have upgraded your gears to 3.73 or 4.10 while you got your LSD, your just gunna end up paying 300$ more in labor
My friend chose not to do gears so no hes not going to end up paying another 300$ for labor. Also on my list it says, throttle body SPACER not a bigger throttle body... Idiot =]
Btw it does help, I had one on my first car. The most it did was make the exhaust sound a bit deeper.
