Occupy has not been co-opted. They tried using tactics of civil disobedience and non violent resistance (which were effective to manipulate the government during the civil rights movement,). The only thing the occupy movement has accomplished with these tactics is to bring shame on local law enforcement agencies for having to subjugate them. There has got to be a way to stand against the corporate powers who rule the world from the shadows.
