I haven't been to France, but I'm the member of an transnational extended family. I have French cousins, North American siblings and South American grand-parents, also I'm a History student.
It's ironic, while I spend hours watching French films, learning the language, reading Le Monde, Foucault or Sartre, the French youth consume American culture and are in love with Hollywood.
