if you just want to do the shot, in 12, just sprint towards the goal coming from right mid to left post, release sprint, hold LT and aim a cross like a shot he will do the rabona chip way easier

Rabona fake break down:

All it's made up of is sprinting fast at a ball, then trying to slow down (by letting go of the sprint) then holding the skill button and using fake shot/fake pass and going back to the direction you were coming from.

So what you really need to focus on, is thinking that it's just a FAKE SHOT or fake pass, people get mixed up because they use pass- shoot instead of shoot-pass to make the fake.

and hit them before the fake rabona is complete

@wardul the rabona shot occurs randomly but u can maximize the chance of it happening by approaching goal in a more staggered angle as shown in the video. I hope that was helpful :)

Btw only players with the flair trait can do the Rabona, and you can also use LT + X instead of LB + Y to do the actual rabona.

@iAmAIive You have to hit B + A really fast when you are separated from the ball (basically when you sprint, you kick the ball further away from your body, than you hit B +A when the ball is farthest from your body during a sprint).

Hey I can do the fake but I can't seem to shoot afterwards? It just becomes a LB+Y shot from what I can see, any tips? And do you reckon you could post a vid of your actual controller so I can get a sense of how fast you're supposed to do it?

You do this in a few seconds. I think the problem you are having, isthat you are not pointing the left stick towards the goal. Think of the Y button as the Kicking button. I think the RB button is there because it is sort of a chip shot. Also, remeber that after you let go of the RT button, You have to hold the LT button the rest of the way. It takes a lot of practice, and will take a little getting used to. Let me know if you need more help.
