"Custom" generally means that it was made just for the trailer. Now in truth this is not COMPLETELY custom. It IS a rearrangement of "War Begins", but was specifically rearranged for the Star Trek trailer.

If you listen carefully, there's an extra deep-drum sample added to give it that extra effect.

This is not exactly that version of the song that appears in the trailer. This is a choir version of the song, but in the trailer, there's a no-choir version of it and yes, there's a difference IN the drums and the precussion between the two songs. Also there's a difference at the end of the song, if you listen to it carefully, at the second half (!) of the finale (2:36) the trailer version is longer with a beat than eight (which is the normal is 4/4). :) And of course, there's no choir vocals.
