What I don't understand is why homosexuals have to get permission to get married in church. I thought that America was supposed to separate church from state.
All it shows is that most people think that homosexuals are out for attention, and unlike people who are African-American, disabled, etc, can help it, and aren't born with it. *sigh* I don't understand people.

I don't even think there should BE a gay pride celebration. It should be a non-issue. People are people and love who they love. Sadly the world doesn't work that way. And I never have any idea how people think gay/bi/transgendered people CHOOSE to be how they are. Like you wake up one morning and decide "Gee, I'd like to be the target of hatred and discrimination for now on." Do they think that gay people REALLY enjoy the genitalia of the opposite sex and are just trying to be rebelious?
That transgendered people are just looking for attention? I mean I can at least UNDERSTAND people who think it is wrong but don't consider the person a "sinner" unless they actually engage in homosexual acts as they at least understand that preference isn't a choice...And unless those same people who rally against homosexuality are following the word of the Bible in every sense, then I have no respect for them as they are merely hypocrites.

This discrimination upsets me so much. We are all loved in God's eyes and we shouldn't be treated any differently b/c of our sexual orientation.
I'm Christian and Jewish and I'm ashamed of religious fanatics. It makes people like me look bad.
