Holla! Have you considered - fast abs magic (do a search on google)? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my work buddy got detailed 6 pack abs and lost a lot of weight with it.
@gphx - Not so simple, duh. You can be active inside - inside a gym, inside your house. What about think about THIN people who work night shifts and sleep inside during the day? What about fat people who live in VERY sunny/hot climates? The HIGHEST proportion of obesity in the US is in the SOUTHERN (hot/sunny) states - Alabama, Mississippi, etc. Your theory that fat people never get outside is crap. Stop miseducating with your personal biases.
Last summer, on vacations, I ate a lot of junk foods like chips and tortillas and a several beers for about two weeks. I was lazy BUT took much more sunshine than normal. Because of this unhealthy way of eating, I expected gaining weight. To my surprise, I lost 5 pounds. I've been wondering in the last few days if that much sun activated Vitamin D which in turn, per this video, helped me with weight-loss. I decided to check out my theory on Youtube. This video seems to confirm my theory.

Vit D helps with some 37 processes in the body including most every major organ, also vit. D is NOT an actual vitamin it's a steriod hormone and is utilized as such in the body. as far as weight loss is concerened, it's complicated but basically while supplementimng with it, your not starving your organs, they can drink of it freely as you take in less of everything else. and a body that's not being starved of Vit. D while it's being calorie restricted seems to help
p.s. supplement with 5,000 ui for vit. D if you want this to be effective for weight loss. Dpn't worry. 5k ui is about the equivalent of 30 min. of sunshine/laying out.
So Vitamin D is correlated with a better ability to lose weight. What exactly would be the biological mechanism for this, assuming it's not just that people who are outside more often will both produce more Vitamin D and lose weight more quickly?

Pretty simple. People with higher vitamin D get it from the sun when they're outside being active. Those with lower D are staying inside.

by the way, you would NEVER break out from vit. D supplementing unless you already do everytime you go out in the sun.

I took a vitamin D supplement and broke out in a rash all over my body, which is apparently common with vitamin D...be careful
