I think. Buddism, the monks feed once a day. That's lunch. They don't cook, they have to "bat" that is to earn their lunch from people, and return the givers blesses...in the old days...they walk miles w/bare feet. That's a way to bring bless to people who are dedicated to the Buddism...people have to get up really early to prepare food for this...so it takes discipline and dedication.
