@KourtneeJo I was using Wade's Superior Dragonbone Plate Armor from Origins. Check out my "My Level 30 Mage Build" video if you want to see the full build. If possible, ignore the tentacles and have everyone constantly attack The Mother. If you kill the tentacles, a bunch of Childer Grubs spawn so it's easier and faster ignoring the tentacles.

hey what was the gear your using, i just made a arcane warrior today, got the reccomended gear and whatnot and ill probably finish the main questline tommorrow, i was just wondering what gear i should be on the lookout for my eventual character transfer to awakening i only really know about 2h warriors and rouge archers, any help would be awesome

Yeah it's sort of disappointing how Dragon Age practicly circles around having two mages with Haste/Hex. You can truly pick any two other classes alongside. Sure you can optimize it, but in the end it makes little difference. When I figured this out I was really disappointed to understand how many useless mage skills there were in the game. In the end I practicly stated that the Mages spent too much time and mana focusing on their offensive spells that did nothing but slow the team down.

I love that mage finisher.  I brought my first mage into DAA and saw that, and thought "That looks so much more final than the knife that the other classes use."

mage mill is much better its like A Kamehameha thing with lightning but would have been awesomer if you did that then decapatated her like lightning then jump then slice since you have sword but like when you select kill them with the knife kill
