hey adam if you could review the expedition shell jacket from scotte vest that would really help me out lol. i have come to trust your reviews and enjoy the way you go through the advantages and disadvantages of different gear. the reason i say this is i'm seriously looking into putting together a jacket system that can hold alot of stuff and be rugged at the same time the expedition jacket looks like it might be a winner with the proper layers underneath it, but as always a great review.

this is great thanks for the review....I've been looking at these for a long time now and was wondering how durable it was because of it's complex pockets and design it didn't seem like it would hold up to hard use....I dont think im going to spend the money on one now....thanks so much

Cool stuff Adam. Like you mentioned great for low profile gear carry in urban settings. I took a look at the website & realized I had taken a look at their hidden cargo pants before. I think some of their stuff could make for some good EDC management. With so many pockets & distributed well for weight balance these do seem pretty cool. I would say the smart shopper should look for some discount coupons or codes like your 40% off to make these really worth it.

Great review. Seems like a lot of jacket for the money. I think it would make a good vest, that way you would be more likely to keep it on if it warmed up a bit.
