Thats actually the charge piping that runs where the passenger seat would be. There is a ice filled intercooler that they use. Then it runs back out to the intake of the motor.

its legal it goes by the local police station when the weather permits and as far as i know they havent done anything about it btu none the less it is street legal and he runs a radial on the street and the airbag isnt a requirement in michigan(home state)

For your information, MI has no inspection, safty or emissions, and id NEVER been pulled over for a noise ticket while i lived there, and in plenty of other states, its easy to get around the inspection process, since the inspections are performed by local shops, and if you know someone who performs the inspections, you can and will get around them. Not all states though, since AZ and others are run by the state, at state inspection stations, so they are a little tougher

btw my car is registered in NC, and it has NO emissions, NO stock seat belts, No back seat, no door panels, 14 pt cage, fiberglass nose + front bumper, lexan side and rear windows, battery box in the rear, aftermarket steering wheel w no airbag, 12" tall scoop, and plenty of other violations, and i have a nice, bright, shiny new inspection sticker on the window, it a 1989 model
