Ever since visiting the ancient sites of the Navajo, meeting the people of the "Nation", spending time hiking with Navajo guides through their magnificent canyons.. and our .long conversations about life ,world views, and our place in the universe, the Navajo have left a deep impression on the way I look at life. I wrote this short musical piece the evening I returned for my trip. It is meant to convey my respect for and appreciation of the Peoples' generosity & hospitality. - Joe Carvalho
