  • By D tuning you mean Open D for banjo?

Ignoring the 5th string, tuning is DF#AD?

  • @MrFranciscoFidalgo Yes, that is what I played it in.

  • out of sync

  • Yep, I had just learned the song an hour before the video was made. Hadn't worked out the song completely.

  • like, what i mean is, its still playing even after you walk off. nice tune though.

what kinda banjo is it. i just got one yesterday its an old harmony

  • Oh yeah, I think it had problems downloading or something. It's a Gold Tone OB-250 custom. I played a '72 Harmony before this banjo. Old Harmony banjos are generally really good for their price/quality. Good luck with the banjo picking.

  • yeah, im good a guitar, but idk, banjo might be harder thatn guitar, do u know the wildwood flower

  • great sounding banjo/for one day from tab you did well/you wood really like the new enclosed cam tuners/my son an i have a verison at mheffinger1 that you might like to lission to/using the new tuners.practice.

  • Thats pretty good! Work on timing and notation justa bit, and you'll have it down!

  • Thanks, I had just learned that song from a tab book that day.

  • ONE DAY?! Thats awesome! I can't really learn from tabs, I just have to listen to the song, and sort it out break by break.
