I thought Ama and Shiba-san had something in the past and that they slept together and/or she was imagining it just for the sake of it...but that was so sad!

Well yeah, since you haven't been reading the book and only seen this movie without eng subs, I totally understand why you had seen it on that way, especially when Lui did imagine these two having sex.

The movie wasn't after all so well directed, so i really warmly assist you to read the novel. At least the cast did look good, they were so closely looking like the book characters, the tattoos were made on their skins pretty well and the piercings looked nice.

On a side note: "Assist" means something like help, so I think the way you used it in the sentence is wrong I don't mean it in a bad way, its just that as an Italian learning student I like it when they correct me because it makes me a better speaker/writter. Hope you don't hate me now...=(

Well, to be honest. Movie wasn't that good after all. But the novel itself was alright. Sadly I had to read it in Finnish. :( Translation was kinda lame.

Schiba raped and killed Ama. after police told her about cigarettes, she knew but she never told anyone even Schiba. she accepted it and kept living with Schiba. they do not give any reason why Schiba did this but I guess he was just sick- he wanted to kill her but he loved her too much so he kille Ama instead.

the movie is so lackluster. omg! i expected so much more because i read the book. this video makes the movie look interesting, but the movie itself has such a disconnect with the characters in it. it had no life to it as a movie.
